It doesn't surprise me that the percentage of silver being used in coins today has dropped dramatically since, from what I understand, silver has really become a commodity because of its varied use in most of today's technology. Cell phones, smart phones, I-pads, computers, and everything in between must use silver to complete certain electronic circuitries. I think that's one of the reasons its price keeps going up! By the way, if you're going to do anything related to 'paper' money, I have a very interesting factoid I discovered recently that I would love to share with you . . .
