Re: Don't know if you're interested in doing so, but if you wanted to

Hi Pat, Thanks for the comment...my dream is to be able to write a novel, though I don't know how interesting a novel would be of a woman trying to write poetry, but hey, I've read novels with less plot than that. Hell, The Office ran for 8 years with less plot.

Don't know if you're interested in doing so, but if you wanted to

write a novel you've already got a scenario, and no doubt a cast of good guys and bad guys, a source of conflict to be resolved (getting past the boredom would be something we can all identify with). Pulling for you to find your poems and other good stuff tucked away in the file drawers of memory...

Sounds like you haven't lost the knack at all.  You'll soon have it all honed up to challenge the best.

It has been awhile since I myself have written a poem. I ought to do it.

Here is a good place to start writing again and just reading each other can spark a thought to be tried out in a post. Good for you if you don't have to work and can enjoy being here and back into what is really you. A writer.

🗽The last time I won a poetry contest, and was published in both the online and paper journal, I moved, and didn’t leave my forwarding address. So, I don’t have a copy, and lost the file copy under Documents in my old computer, when it broke love. BC-A,,Bill’s .R🍒st

I was never really one for poetry, either writing or reading, but I understand your burning desire to write . . . anything. I've taken to keeping a notebook with me at all times! You never know when an idea will strike you . . .
