Re: Re: Re:

Well, toy or not, Kabu, it would still be funny to see Mr. Graysome take him on! And there's no competiton. A tall tale is a tall tale . . .

Re: Re:

Re: Jimmy

Sorry, Naut. As a 'man of the sea' yourself, I had a feeling you'd get a kick out of a tale like this! I don't know how many cats may be hanging around your dock, but if one could spin a story like this . . .

Re: JimmyA

Thanks, Sir Wiley. And remember: we have a house full of kitties, while you have just the one. So if there's anyone who knows about cats being full of shit, it's us! But, we love them just the same . . .

Re:

Thanks, FSI. I guess you'll have to keep this story in mind the next time a fisherman or a cat tells you anything. But frankly, if a cat could tell you something, it almost wouldn't matter what he says, it would be cool indeed . . .

Re:

Well, Kabu, that may just be a tale you'll have to share with us someday! I can't really see Mr. Graysome taking on a leopard, unless, of course, that leopard was invading his territory! Then it's game on . . .

Re:

Thanks, C C T. I guess you don't have to know a lot about cats or fisherman to enjoy such a tale. And I have a feeling that cats can spin better 'yarns' than fisherman anyway . . .

Re: If I were sitting on the dock of a bay, wastin' time with a fishing pole,

Thanks, Pat. As a writer, you know as well as I do that, when something like this comes to mind, you've got to jot it down! And it's nice having a place like Blog-it to share it with. Glad you enjoyed it . . .

i just ran this story past Mr. Graysome....he says both fisherman and cat are telling tall tales....which reminded him of when he met a scared the spots of a leopard...but you don't want to hear that story I know!!

Nice tale Jimmy I don't know much about cats but fishermen can spin a good yarn any day.  Happy Christmas.

If I were sitting on the dock of a bay, wastin' time with a fishing pole,

I would thoroughly enjoy having a cat share a story with me - BS or not. This was fun!
