Do What's Best For You
No matter how hard it seems, ultimately you know what's best for you and your future.  Keep your head up and stay strong.

Make sure
this is what you want to do. If you are leaving a soul mate, you'll pay for it with regret for the rest of your life. That is if you were sexually involved. If not, you still need to make sure before you go.

Hey, welcome to the Bn. We won't be strangers long. I think what you're saying sounds healthy. You said you finally want to live your life. You're beginning a long, exciting journey. You don't want to take dead weight. You've BEEN dead weight all your life. Now you'd like to walk out in the light and find something wonderful, someone wonderful. There's nothing wrong with wanting joy and happiness. You DO deserve that. No matter what you've done or where you've been Everyone deserves a second chance--A third chance. Hell, if it weren't for second chances, I wouldn't be here.

I write a blog called, "The Loserville Chronicles" which gives a brief rundown of what's going on in the Blogging Network. Stop by and take a look.

Sometimes strangers are the only ones we can tell...
I too am 35 and I am also a recovering alcoholic. I have a girlfriend that I am thinking of letting go of for similar reasons. I am a father. Mostly now I can finally be a serious student and education is what my new life will be about; for myself, for my son and for all the other kids out there who are likely to end up broken as I did...Many of them never get a chance at recovery, we have to try...Vaya con Dios, sleep well and wake...
