I'm gonna go out on a limb here, adnohr, and say that, if she could play hockey, she would probably spend a lot of time in the penalty box! Not for holding or interference, but for unsportsmanlike conduct . . .

Re:

No we won't, C C T, and neither will the rest of the world, I'm assuming! Our presidents make an average salary of $200,000 a year. We have certain athletes who make that per match! What does that tell you about the state of affairs over here . . . ?

Re:

Well, it wouldn't be so bad, TAPS, if her celebrity wasn't based on politics, and if the tax payers weren't picking up the tab! I can only imagine how she actually treats her personal staff . . .

Re: JimmyA

Only six, Sir Wiley? I think, after two runs with the Bush family, it should be more like twenty! And what's funny is, Bill Clinton can run again, if he chose to! I'd rather have another run with 'Slick Willie' than his pain-in-the-ass wife . . .

Re:

Very few people seem to be, FSI, and yet, so far, no one else from the Democratic party seems to be able to step up and challenge her! The next election may be a landslide for the Republicans, just because of the number of people who simply won't vote for her . . .

Re:

And that's most unfortunate, Bill. However, that says more about the mental state of the average voter today than it does about Mrs. Clinton . . .

Re: Jimmy

That may be a part of it, Naut, but you know as well as I do that sometimes, what happens here in the states can affect our distant cousins from the Great White North! Expensive tastes indeed, and at our expense . . . !

What???!!! The lady can't even play hockey!! Whatever makes her think she is worth that much???

Well Jimmy I don't know how things are valued these days , but when one reads that the managers of the BBC are receiving more pay than the prime minister. It makes one wonder if value has gone haywire. From what I read over here you are not going to be pleased with your next president.

I like her choices for what she wants--crudites, hummus and cushions.  What could be so bad about that?  LOL

JimmyA

I just never cared for the idea of families taking over the running of the country, there should be a space of 6 years between one family member following another.

Talk about expensive there. Politicians are every bit as bad as celebrities. Yeah, I'm not too keen on her being in the White House.

She's leading in the poll Jimmy.

Jimmy

Unfortunately I have no say in this matter, but I think you know what I would say if I had; and not just because of her expensive tastes...
