Good for you.  It sure sounds like you did it right.  I'd love to take a tour.

Re: MIA 890

and we have done more since and a lot this Summer after the hot water tank leaked. WE too spent far too much money and are really glad that we did. Here's really hoping that you get a wonderful tenant

Something tells me that, once it's all said and done, you're not going to be touching or changing anything in that house for a long, long time . . .

MIA 890

I am glad your nightmare financial project is coming to an end for you. I did a lot of that before Kabu and I got together in 2006/07.

There was someone in Cornwall, I think it was, who felt a draft,

and after some time and a number of failures to block it, had the flooring under the rocking chair pulled up, and found beneath it a deep, abandoned mine shaft.

I watch the Holmes Does it Right shows on HGTV and other shows

about rehab, buying, selling and rental property. I find these more interesting than any of the so-called reality shows, and I don't have to see Kardashians posing for the camera. I can visualize all the steps you went through, dust & debris, etc. You guys have really accomplished a lot!  What next?

It is a bit frightening to watch a house being built all those scraps and oddments under the floor boards . Someone IO know had a damp patch on a wall investigation revealed an old army overcoat wet with decay.

Mia

Even with just a little bit of reno experience since we bought this house (before it was even built, LOL), I can well imagine what you went through! But I also know you must feel great satisfaction, knowing that in the end you have things the way you want them to be...
