wonderful post taps

i laughed all the way through, not at you but with you.  as i feel exactly the same way.  i am guilty of making a list, but never using it, now where did i put that list. and what i really do not like is not being prepared, so i dont mind thinking about things and death is something that i am preparing for.  all my family and friends have to do when i die, is nothing.  they can take a minute to remember me if they are so inclined.

Re: Nautikos

Thank you so much.  We will hope for the best as she goes through some chemotherapy.

LOL

I make lists regarding the various lists I need to make in the future, and I have another list to keep track of the lists I have pending. I once misplaced the "Master List", and was lost for 2 days (it turned up, thank goodness, and I got back on track...).

And now I'm off to check yet another list, and see what's next to read

I don't blame you at all! The only 'list' I deal with from time to time is the grocery list! Other than that, I do my best to use my 'mental' lists to get me through! Then, sometimes, that's what Post-Its are for . . .

Re: Pat_B

I know what you mean.  LOL.  I'm going out to the store for some coffee in a minute.  I would have bought it the other day if I had carried a grocery list and coffee was on it.  I only have enough for one more pot and I don't like getting that low.

Re: WileyJohn

I'm afraid that it is on my mind for a reason.  My oldest sister, now 83, has received the diagnosis of inoperable cancer--inoperable because they are afraid that she will bleed out during surgery and they won't be able to stop it.  They don't give her a lot of time left, but one never knows.  I'm afraid that I began thinking "list" of all of my loved ones now gone and that I miss terribly.  I will take your advice and, instead, make a wonderful list of all those loved ones that I still have and are full of life and goodness.

Re: C_C_T

Too many people around here prefer the leg and thigh.  It is the first thing that goes on Thanksgiving.

Why not just have a turkey breast Taps easy to cook you won't get fed up with it or have to make Son eat the Parson's Nose. Think about it. Turkeys don't make lists.

As I approach the ultimate limit, I have to make lists or I forget

where I was headed, what I need to do there. The days slip past while I'm focused on some crocheting or dialog for a scene, and there I am having missed the chance to go to the store and pick up the makings for meat loaf or something.
