I'll go along with FSI on this one. No matter what, they'll have the decency to wait til the end of the season . . .

I am going to say no. Generally, NFL teams do not make in-season coaching changes. Here are a few reasons why.

1. Teams do not want to pay a coach to sit. Granted, they got Ryan for two more season under contract, but given that this season is not going to turn around, they may as well try to get a little something out of him.

2. In-season firings reek of instability.

3. There aren't good coaches ready to take over. Marty Mornhinweg does not exactly instill confidence in a fanbase. Rex Ryan at his worst is better than Mornhinweg.

4. On the subject of coaches within the system, it's just meet the old boss.
