Taps the way I see this is that in the time of Sheparding this would have taught the people God was all they needed in any situation. Sheep was their money crop, thier food, their clothing almost everything and they show all these traits

This is so wonderful. So many people seem to think this is for the time when death is near. But, I say it is a wonderful passage for the time of living--a wonderful prayer for thanksgiving, a good way to start every day.
