Yeah, that brings back memories . . . sometimes there are certain people that, for one reason or another, just can't get along with someone else in the workplace. I'm glad you remained patient, and it has paid off for you! Good move . . .

Oh thank you God for answering Prayers and I am betting that Bird had his spirit in ther somewher too. My huge smile is  on its way back to you.

I guess that you are just too good at what you do and her inadequacies and self doubt just could not cope with you. Your lovely smile, your patient attitude, and your determination to carry on regardless of personal tragedy and drama.

Jealousy I expect. Or maybe she is afraid that you will take a better position. It just shows what some have to put up with. Of course she may have problems that she cannot deal with and seeks to let off steam some how. I am pleased you are moving it would have been worrying to think of you suffering for no reason.

Congratulations! And I do admire you for your patience! Though I have never been in a similar situation, I don't think I would have handled it as well as you did - I think there would have been a 'blow-up' quite a while ago, LOL...With that irritant out of the way, you'll have a much better time, rise through the ranks, become CEO and then you can fire her...

Whatever it is, it's HER. Something out of her experience,

nothing for you to do but enjoy the new placement. That shadow she cast over your work days will fade away soon. Now if the systems folk could iron out the bugs in the software, you'd all have something to celebrate...

Patience is rewarded. It is best to have nothing to say about all this and get on with the new favored position. I am happy for you. Be blessed dear lady.

Could she be jealous of you?...your looks?...your abilities?...your intelligence?...anything like that?   Otherwise, I am bewildered too.  But, I'm so glad you are going to see better days at work when you go back.
