dear sweet kind and loving Jean. What a great way to spend your BFF. Birthday and without you, would she have had so much fun? I doubt it.
stick close to your Sons and your friends. They are the biggest help. Divorce is a lot like death, it is final except that occassionally one sees him. So think of yourself now as a widow and a freedom to do what pleases you. So many hugs that i have for you, you must feel them coming your way.

You are really sweet Jean. Perhaps you do not realize but there are many folk here that do not see a person from one week to another. If one is caring for someone with dementia the saddest thing is that one finds oneself bereft of company. When I was delivering eggs to some customers they used to almost embarrassingly will me to stay for a few minutes just for company. Why they do not mix is sometimes the fear that
a person will overstay their welcome, or a kind of class structured feeling which is not applicable these days anyway. it is so strange really.
