Yes, he's receiving unprecedented attention because he 'came out,' but he should only be playing football ( for any team ) on his merits and skills as a player, and nothing more. Some people may look upon his 'lifestyle' as a possible distraction, but if, for any reason, he's not good enough to make a pro team, people will have to accept that too, including Sam. The majority of team owners will only look at a man's performance on the field, and nothing more. If he's going to make a team, he's just going to have to work for it, like everybody else . . .

they will find him a place where he can be forgotten about. Not everyone feels like some of us do that his private life is just that but he did make it public I suppose.
