From what I have read, Gordon's year long suspension resulted from marijuana. In my opinion, he should not have been suspended at all. Two states have legalized marijuana. Others are decriminalizing it.
That said, I do not feel sorry for Gordon. He knows the rules. If not, he could easily find them out.
