I'm sure there are a few programs in place to help some of these players, but you must remember one thing: these are grown men, supposedly with a few ounces of common sense. The various league representatives are not going to hold their hands throughout their playing careers to keep them out of trouble. The responsibility is theirs . . .

I am inclined to say no. It seems that the only thing the league does is suspend its players who fail the drug tests.
