Thanks, C C T. I try. And don't worry . . . everyone is able to sympathize with your 'tax dilemma.' No one is immune! What gets people really upset is when you seem to pay and pay and pay . . . and they still want more! The Beatles' song "The Tax Man" always seemed to have said it best. It can take the 'wit' out of anyone! As far as the' late arrival' for my Monday morning posst, well, you'll just have to blame Grenwich Time for that . . .

Yes very good your last spat Jimmy, that dog could have been famous. I look forward to your blog on a Monday, but sometimes it comes in late somehow. I don't feel very witty at the moment my income tax form was returned, telling me to do it again. They sort of guessed I was not trying very hard to pay them money. It is a bit miserable having to pay at the end of the tax year. No one offers to help with money only sympathy. Yes the little trick you suggested worked, I try to remember to do it . Chin up.

I understand completely, adnohr! Have you ever been about to watch a game when the remote batteries died? It's amazing sometimes the action you can miss while scrambling for a couple a little AA batteries . . .
