Break my heart, why don't you? Just kidding, although it would burn me to no end if such were the case. It wouldn't surprise me however since I think the Tigers (along with their biggest fan) are the chief victims of Murphy's Law. Thanks for reading. I promise much more baseball in the near future.

Not so fast.....
Hate to say this but there is a possibility of an extremely rare occurance in MLB: the sign and trade. Rumors are floating that there is a third, as yet unnamed team that may sign Pudge and immediately trade him to .....THE MARLINS! This way he and his agent can get around the rule that prohibits him from playing for his former team until May 1st, because they did not offer him Salary arbitration. Hope it's not true for the Tiger's sake. I also think it's kind of a shady way to circumvent the rules.
