I think you are so lucky working with your dad. I wish time comes back to spend more time with my dad. The first shock in my life was when I lost the very dear friend in my life. I never thought that moment or day in life would ever come. I always took things for granted. A friendly advice to you is to enjoy with him every moment you can. I am sure you will always appreciate these special moments in life.

I guess you have a job at hand ready overseeing your dad's business if anything else.

I am sure you are doing great either way. Great to read you again FSI and thanks for stopping by my blog.

It seems to me that your working life is working out really well. You are basically a happy guy and that is worth everything.

Well, hindsight is usually 20/20, and then of course there's the shoulda, woulda, coulda factor! But you seem happy and content with the way things have worked out, so there's probably no real use in speculating too deeply on what 'might have been.' I have a few of those myself from my past, but I no longer give them much thought . . .
