i think the hats have changed, but i love a man in a hat if he knows how to wear it, that is the tipping and removing parts.

Personally, I loved the 1940's fashions. My mother never went anywhere without looking great and always with a hat, nor did my dad. He always left the house in a suit, white shirt, tie and fedora. I always wanted to dress like them when I grew up, but times changed the fashions. The only thing I thought was funny was the contraption that fit on his calf to hold up his silk stockings. LOL
