This kind of thing makes me think of our summer home in the Pocono Mountains. It was such a small, tight knit community, and we were always doing things together. Bingo, summer games for the kids, etc.

It's pretty sad how this type of thing doesn't happen much anymore. Children, in having everything, are so incredibly deprived.

MG

Yes, those were fun times, more innocent, somehow! And to Jimmy: Those people who can eat anything without getting fat are really Aliens, LOL...

It is indeed! Unfortunately for me, there's a spiteful demon who lurks in the recesses of my mind who, instead of calling up 'fun & positive' childhood memories, actually prefers to throw negative images at me concerning certain things I'd rather forget! The fond memories are there too, but sometimes . . .  And don't ya just hate those people who can eat almost anything ( and lots of it ) and never seem to gain a pound? Where do they come from . . . ?
