I have known the feeling Justi, but like you one gradually begins to live life again.
Your poem sums it up, now you can kick that lump of misery into a corner.

everyone's distress is their distress and not really to be compared. You have always been so busy and helping of others and brave through personal tragedy, I can understand a little at your depression when sickness had you in it's grip. Our wiley has been something the same and now he is much better and able to be out and about, his mood lifts more each day. Bless you darling for you are such a blessing in this world.

I don't think I've ever felt the way that you describe. I don't think I want to.
You make it sound horrible. So sad for people who fight that kind of depression.
