I do not feel that there will ever be a salary cap in MLB. From what I gather, the owners are happy with the system they have now.

They probably should, because some player's salaries are getting ridiculous now! But it may be too late, unless they 'pro-rate' certain salaries in reverse. No, they can't do that either! Just ask the Steinbrenners . . .
