I'm looking forward to the resurrection of "trivia."  I think all the newcomers on the BN will go for it.

Married to an ex-ML Manager, eh?  And a fan since the sixth grade?  Maybe you and the hubby could collaborate on a sports blog.  There are just enough big baseball fans around here to give it a decent ranking.

NAP - Wow! Thanks for the kudos...

I am getting ready to resume "trivia" - That's my favorite blog!

And, I have to admit that I live a baseball life. Not only have I been a fan since the sixth grade, but my husband is a baseball lifer - he has 40 years in the game. Most notably, he is a former Major League manager.

You're amazing.  I don't run into many women who know much about baseball other than which players are cute.  Most of those who do know anything are only knowledgeable about the local team because their husband or friends are into it.  On top of that you can write.  YES YOU CAN!  I like the interviews you used to run in "triv-i-a Insignificant or inessential matters," I love "Old Florida in Photos," and I think "hugger mugger...muddle" is an excellent blog.  If you weren't already spoken for I'd be trying to get your address and be planning a trip to Florida.  Blog on -- you now have a big fan!

NAP - Exactly
The Twins don't want it and the Indians don't have it anymore. Kansas City is going to back up. It will be interesting to see how Ozzie Guillen handles his White Sox. The one bright spot could be Detroit getting their act together.

That's one of the reasons why I'm wishing so hard for Pudge Rodriguez to sign with the Tigers.  His pitch-calling and defensive skills could settle and mature the young Tiger pitching staff a year or two ahead of schedule.  His talent as a hitter in an already improved offense is not to be overlooked either.  I don't honestly believe they have the personnel to go from last to first -- but they could make the AL Central very interesting to follow.

The Central is such a weak division - uninspiring - I'm pulling for something substantial to happen there.

T99 and missyj
Hope you gals are laughing with us and not at us poor Tiger fans.  We've been through hard times before and we shall rise again.  Think positive and remember the Miracle Mets and the last to first Braves!

Thanks for the support.  We need all the fans we can get.  My Tigers, I mean, although I can use some support too.  Thanks a bunch for reading and commenting.
