I feel so badly for you and your having to slip out to the car for a nap. Wish we lived closer together sis and maybe help out with driving or something. Keep well, I miss our talks on the phone when my Kabu was away and thank you. Now we can't call you for fear of waking you up at 10:00pm, give us a time to call you alright.?W&K

sleep patterns change,

but sounds like you will adjust with early hours at work and then you can head home for nap if you like.  but if you are like me once home from work i could never lay down to much to do.  but good luck with new schedule and home smooch is on the mend.

Sleep well and deeply when you do sleep.  You can't go forever with a sleep deficit.  Not good!  Not good!

It appears that 'Old Man Stress' has been tapping you on the shoulder a lot lately, and you keep turning around! Take a break! But there'll be no real rest until the Rangers/ Canadiens series is over! We've got a long way to go . . .

Well you're still overdoing it sis, I am happy you have a better arrangement. Keep well and pat the doggies for me, oh and Kabu says you can't let the cat out after the squirrels and chipmuncks anymore.LOLK&W

I used to have problems with insomnia. Fortunately, Melatonin has worked well for me...It can be tough adjusting to a new system.

Takes time adnohr . One has to adjust, but if you can get the early shift at least through the warmer weather it will be nice to come away as the others grind on.Yes poor old Bird  you really brought him into our hearts, I always wished I could have sent him some of the sweet which he enjoyed. At least he was cared for with love and one could not hope for more.

My Bio clock has always been weird and nursing was a nighmare for morninbg shifts for me. I like to sleep between 2am and 11am. which now I am free to do...9 hours of bliss.

Take care of you and unfortuantely we were just thrashed yesterday afternoon...NO we don't like playing in an afternoon obviously.

As Pat says, your circadian rhythm is different! I couldn't do it; I remember when I had summer jobs that required night shifts - I had a hard time...

Sounds to me like your circadian rhythms are set to nocturnal and

your low point-sleep time is during the day.

Funny thing, I was also thinking of Bird yesterday and the day before. Thinking of how
the two of you fought the good fight together, how sweet he could be, how difficult
it was but how lucky you were to have each other back to back in that battle.

I hope the new schedule works well for you and you get this new system running smoothly. Good to know the baby boy is doing well or holding his own anyway.
