Wow. Your discoveries just keep getting better and better! My wife and I don't have any children, but I'm hoping that at least a few of my nieces and/or nephews ( I have 15 )will show some interest in my life. At the very least, they'll have my book, "The Hindering," to give them some insight. Keep going . . .

What a very interesting post. As far as I know, my father never had any safes, only a safety deposit at his bank. Long before he got to the point of not being able to remember things, he had me put on everything, every account and made me his power of attorney. I didn't have to go searching for anything.
