Taking a new course is always fun! And I too was looking for a new laptop - the problem is that all I could find was loaded with Windows 8, which I hate! (I hate 8 - that rhymes, LOL) So I'm looking for a used one with 7, or maybe get my old one repaied which has XP Professional, the best one they ever made...And I have an answer to one of your comments in 'Thoughts' - I hope I wasn't too harsh, LOL...

Oh my goodness, hard road. George went through a second trek a couple of years ago and it was difficult. Work in that field is so rewarding and it is an excellent help in our society. More power to you, hope you are feeling much better soon.

A lot of things are going on, I see...I bought a laptop last August at Staples. I am happy with it...I have had complaints, too, when I knew that the future was super bright.

Ah well we write out the complaints and feel so much better. And I kept going back to University for another post grad diploma, I never felt odd because I was older than everyone else. I found the youngsters admire a person.
