My wife and I don't have any children, so this is a rather difficult topic to discuss. However, I was a child myself once, and I think I was very fortunate to have grown up at a time when the bulk of the mothers stayed home with their kids! As far as I'm concerned, motherhood is considerably far more important than any career these women can embark upon. I know that certain financial situations have more or less forced most women to join the workforce. But I think, based on my general observances of the children today, that they would be far better off with mom at home. I know 'stay-at-home' dads are becoming increasingly common, and that's fine. But there was always something about having mom there! Maybe it's just me . . .
