sounds like a good way to get it done. We now a days keep ours in the garage so several times a year when it is dirty we can go to the auto wash and have a wash wax and dry. Before the garaging it was always needing a clean. We put up a little garden shed a few years ago and filled it from the garage so with a tiny little car we can fit it in the garage.

I have gotten into the habit of just taking my car over to Son #3 and let him do it. He has a power washer and long arms and more energy than I. Besides that, he doesn't charge me. LOL

Hopefully you don't live far from the car wash. Otherwise, your car would get somewhat dirty again even after that initial washing, and then you'll need more than just a rinse! Sometimes going to the car wash is just much, much easier . . .
