Well we do have more fuel efficient cars agree with Annie, but we founf a lot more oil World wide since the 20's and the technology to extract it. Good thing or bad I have no idea.
The Climate is changing for sure but it has always been changing. Some 5 or 6 hundred years ago Europe enjoyed two centuries of warmer weather. milder Winters, hotter Summers. I am not a scientist, nor an alarmist, not do I blame all the troubles of the World onto one man, or one country. It's a big World with a lot of big people making big decisions...this little old Lady sits back to see what will be the next big thing.

Although it may be true that the 'alarmists' are creating a hysteria where none may actually exist ( for whatever reason ), everything I've seen has shown scientific proof that the climate is indeed changing. Satellite images of the polar ice caps from the 1970's, when compared to today's images, show a rather significant difference in the size and amount of ice, and, it's been proven that the sea levels have risen dramatically in the past 50 years! No matter what 'moniker' you want to place on them, these things are happening. Whether or not you want to be alarmed over them is entirely your affair . . .

the reason the petroleum didn't run out was because of more fuel efficient cars...as far as the rest goes...we will just have to agree to disagree
