I would say the first Super Bowl. If memory serves, I do not believe that there is any footage of the complete game.

Geez, there are so many to choose from! To pick only one . . . 
In recent years, many of the great moments that I enjoyed immensely I at least got to see on TV ( like the Rangers winning their first Stanley Cup in 54 years back in 1994 ). Would I like to have been physically present at the Garden at the time? Sure! But going back even further, I would then say it might be the 1980 Olympics at Lake Placid when the U.S. team defeated Russia in ice hockey! People still think that that game won them the gold medal, but they still had to face Finland in the finals, which of course they won! That would have been something to see . . .
