Looking at other options as well re all Internet learning could be a good idea. I also like the idea of asking your financial adviser. It seems to me that this place was a bit pushy, a bit too eager. It will be really interesting to read about your decisions.

I suppose we all strive at times to achieve a certain degree of proficiency in the field of our choice. Ironically those who have the finance to do this rarely want to better themselves. I think one must judge if a greater opportunity exists. Students here run up massive debts doing subjects that are commercially not viable, but easy to dream about.

But is this something you had been seriously considering anyway? It's nice to get information ahead of time, but if your heart isn't really in it, it may not be worth the trouble. And I would think that anyone attending any college or university would or should have at least some idea of the career path they would like to go down! Gaining an education is one thing. Being fully prepared for the future is another . . .
