So, it's a case of "He said, He said," with the Ukrainian people caught in the middle. As much as my wife and I are trying to follow the news accounts, it's still somewhat confusing as to what is actually going on over there . . .

I hear what Ceil is writing. Perhaps this is a European problem because they are the ones to be closely affected by it. One has to ask oneself is Putin trying to get the USA and her allies further into war debt? by starting another conflict.

This just sounds like something we should keep out of.
Unless, of course, the US really is Policeman of the World. How do we know the rights and wrongs of this situation? Who gets to decide? If we decide, are we deciding according to the most appropriate standards, or just the ones we like best?
