and the beautiful little girl was saved by the beautiful Princess who spends her time wandering the World looking for children to save....I am glad that naked old man had his bits covered by algae

Wow - I would be asking myself 2 questions: Was that really Vodkik (bet it was) and who was that girl? Another water sprite that landed in a good place?

Very interesting! The way you describe Vodnik, he reminds me of Tolkien's Gollum...

I wonder if it might have been a big fish...?

I remember stepping into the deep water once, when I was 4 or 5, and my grandpa was there to pull me out. 

Deep water rescues--another little thing we have in common!
