You'd better keep a spare room and a toothbrush handy for Helen! A friend of mine is involved in one of those on-again-off-again marriages as well, thoughy luckily I don't have to put him up when it's off-again...

It must be that a big house is the draw.  Before I sold mine and moved to apaprtment living, someone was always coming to live with me for a time.  It definitely made life interesting.

Well you are fancy free again Adnohr. One day you might want a nice little house. Now for goodness sake be practical don't get linked with anyone who needs half a house. If you get another male friend, be choosy they are pretty much the same and a rich one has more to lose and is more likely to be motivated to be agreeable. It is pretty miserable in old age if one hates one's partner and there is no where to go. I know several like that. You are still a nice looking woman and spring is shuffling around the corner. Incidentally thank you for helping Wiley through his yearly stint. Advice, my brother is very astute but he sold a house and the buyer built another one by the side. Probably paid for the house. Land is like gold here, so watch out if you ever think of moving you might get more for the land as plots.

I got some old journals at my mother's house. I ought to look for them. I, too, have bad handwriting.

May be more than herd animals, we are pack animals and love the company of others ...but like the Wolves, we also enjoy some time alone. I am sure your home will call to someone to join you soon. You and your doggies and pussycat are irresistable company.

There are times when we really need to back away from others to get a breath of fresh air and look at the new direction that lies in front of us. You may really enjoy this. I think Smooch will be fine, he will be so happy to see Mum at night. Thanks for the smile I am returning one of mine for it.....

I don't mind being alone most of the time.

Or, to put it more grammatically, most of the time I don't mind being alone. But we're herd animals (???) and I have to admit being at the Library or The Center and among people gives me a boost. I can't imagine your "extra" rooms being vacant for long.
