I think some people may be confusing 'entitlement' with 'basic rights,' neither of which can still be guaranteed. You make very good points, but as we all know by now, especially with today's society, it is absolutely impossible to please everybody! I'm not even sure if there's a 'middle ground' anymore! This particular debate will probably go on for quite some time . . .

As to that last question--a classic strawman question at that--supposing I said I was for the death penalty or for fighting wars, that then you would conclude that since a bad life was ended through execution and that people died in a war that must be fought that then it is okay also that innocent, precious pre-natal life be snuffed out?

sorry...we will just have to agree to disagree....being a vegetarian or atheist has nothing to do with receiving health care....have a wonderful day...btw...do you believe in the death penalty....going to war....
