Naturally, the NFL is just overreacting to those celebratory 'dunks,' and raising the goal posts is a terrible idea. Believe, a few hefty fines for this type of celebration will put the kibosh on it faster than you can say "The kick is good!"

I agree with you. This is one of those cases where something happens one time (Justin Tucker's kick that beat the Patriots in 2012), and an overreaction occurs.
