The Orioles pondered the same thing with righties Chris Tillman and Ubaldo Jimenez. From what I have read, they are not going with it. I guess they do not have a lefty to slot in at the #2.

The fact that they are both right-handed pitchers following each other in the rotation has nothing to do with the fact that they are both right-handed pitchers. It will all depend on the team(s) they will be facing. If the bulk of the Yankee's schedule has them facing a boat-load of left-handed batters, then they will probably stay following each other in that rotation. Of course, Joe Girardi has the option of breaking up that rotation anytime and anyway he wants to . . .
