I've never known this to be that much of a problem. Like you said, the players are grown men, and professionals to boot, so I think they can police themselves. And I think, at this point, the "N"-word has probably become so passe´ that no one really pays that much attention to it anymore. I grew up being called a "Pollock," which now makes me laugh . . .
