But I will, and you'll be the first to know.

I'm Not...
...well up on dream interpretation, and I kinda think its too personal to draw too many generalities.

I seem to recall flying dreams as being quite positive, though.

As for animals (and people, for that matter) it can be that what is in your dream is a specific trait of that animal or person that you are facing / being / needing to examine / whatever. And the answers are all inside you!

So access your intuition - what does your quiet, inner voice tell you about flying? And what about bats? Do you need to be listening more carefully? Are you doing well, navigating through the darkness? If dreams are symbolic, then you need to look at them with a symbolic-sympathetic mindset - not logically.

I'm rambling now, so I'll stop. Maybe something here helped.

Damon

Quick question...

I don't know about shapeshifting... but, I have had vivid dreams about flying (as a human being) and dreams of being a bat. Also my recent dreams have involved lots of animals. Any idea what this might mean?

OK - Point...
...taken Ariala.

However, that does mean rootling around in my library for half a day, and I'm preparing for a 2-week trip today, leaving earfly tomorrow morning.

So it won't be instant, but I will get onto it early next month.

Promise!

Damon, your article would be more credible to some of us if you could
provide resources of anthropologists and others who have witnessed a shaman physically shapeshifting...I am very interested and wondered what sort of scientific evidence has been documented.  Thanks.

I will do that.
Have tried many things, pulled naturally. But have been unaware, really, of all the possibilities.

And it's weird. I forget. I was in this real spiritual and connected place about five years ago. It's where I coulda walked the thread right to you and woulda *known* you. But then I went back to school, where my calm and connectedness got knocked out of me as I had to let go to conform to the rigidty of the school system so I could pass, as a student and with good grades.

So I forgot all I had gained. It's there, I know. But afraid to access it now. As if I turned my back on it and now it'll be too...demanding?

Absolutely! The Beauty...
...of shamanism for me is that it is so accessible. As the Kahuna of Hawaii say, if a technique works for you, use it. If it doesn't, move on and try something else.

Let me know how you get on.

And I can try this, too?
