I like how you mix the scene in from those times in the past...Those sights, sounds and smells can bring back a lot of memories...I also like how you leave the reader with that conclusion. That allows the reader to think about what ended up happening...

What a beautiful picture. I love Utah scenery like that. Haven't been there for such a long time. I would sure love to go again, but I do have lots of memories and lots of pictures.
