I find myself refusing to turn on the tv news and am becoming very choosy about the news I read.

I couldn't agree more. I know the news media really has no choice but to report anything and everything that happens out there, whether it is 'good' or 'bad.' Perhaps part of the problem is that there aren't many good stories to report anymore. We don't want to think that the good outweighs the bad, but when you step back and really take a look at what's happening out there . . .
