This is one of the reasons I am here on Blogit, and I want to thank you for your support FSI, you have always been there with a comment, and it is the comments, knowing that someone is out there that has made it all worth while.

I can count backwards, but since the stroke it is more difficult. I had to learn math, grammar, writing, and programming all over again...I skipped the programming as I no longer build the drive by wire vehicles for the disabled.

I try and give the right money to get rid of change, I know most are confused if one tries a different system.

Yes, calculating a simple math problem ( adding or subtracting ) does seem to be a lost art. Whenever my wife or I go shopping where we know we are going to pay in cash, we always make sure we have at least 4 pennies with us, so we can round off the change to either 5 or 0, always getting silver in return. One time we handed a young girl 2 pennies to round out the change, and somehow this confused the hell out of her, and we got 3 pennies in return. Trying to explain what we were hoping to accomplish almost made her head explode! I think it's time for just about everyone to return to the 2nd grade and relearn their arithmetic . . .
