How pleasant to see this tranquil place. And I love the quote.

It's a wonderful philosophy.

Re: C_C_T

Actually, I do.  This apartment complex is composed of eight buildings, each with twelve apartments and back around 1960+/- it was all built in the middle of a forest area.  There is forest on all four sides with one road running through it, and there are small lakes/ponds on three sides.  There are waterfowl, deer, raccoons, possoms, squirrels, snakes, turtles, wild turkeys, and many kinds of birds.  I chose to live here because of the forest.  The only private home/neighbor is the old couple who have lived here forever and sold the majority of their land for the apartment complex.  The name of the complex is Forest Park.

The honkers came here some time ago and have taken over the golf courses and the parks, any place with grass and water. I was at a meeting last fall at a near by park when a 'v' of honkers flew just overhead and everyone, even the speaker, stopped and watched in silence as they flew bye-bye and then we all applauded.
