That does sound like a wonderful endeavor, and I'm sure many, many people benefit from it and appreciate it. Just before last Thanksgiving, I remember seeing news reports from the New York area about the various food banks struggling to fill their usual orders. This was particularly disturbing to hear, because right around the same time, I read an article that stated we ( the U.S. ) waste about 25% of all food grown and prepared in this country! Something's just not right here . . .
