Well most ladies live until 90 these days so go for it. I don't know much about poetry
that is acceptable. I do however know that most folk are drawn into written verse or whatever as a means of dealing with sadness or problems in their own lives. Once one can get over that stage of being one can look forward to writing brighter and more cheerful poems.
