Not on ice but I have slipped on mud twice this year Bill it is softer than ice but it still gives one a nasty jolt.

Last year, when we had a terrible ice storm immediately after Hurricane Sandy! I took a bad tumble trying to prop up a tree, making sure it would not come down on our newly-restored power lines! Not fun . . .

In Feb it'll be three years that I fell on a patch of ice and busted my shoulder - but it's been fully repaired surgically, and is actually better than new, LOL...

Around January 2012, I slipped on some black ice at Location B. I had to have a splint, I think it's called for a bit.
