CCT..we thought of doing a "system restore"

but were afraid we'd go too far back or not far enough....

Jimmy..exactly..

That's why we eased up on the poor guy towards the end of last week..hopefully he's feeling better this week....

Geez. I could feel his pain as I read this! I hope he's doing better. And with that kind of dental problem, I would think that computers would have been the last thing on his mind . . .

Naut...yikes!

Don't schedule both for the same day or you might not survive the two....

Rumor

The only thing I hate more than computer work is dental work - and both are in my future...

lovelylady...I really hope so, too...

Dental work can be a nightmare all its own...we just told him to get well and when he feels up to it, he can get back to our computers....(thank goodness we still have this one!)

I am terrified of dental work, poor guy...and at least you still have the one computer but one just has to wait.

Setaki...I will tell Mark this...he's the one who had it done...

I'm sure if he could do it all over again and just go with an extraction, he would....

Here is to hoping that Mark feels better...My mother can relate to all that he is going through.

I told my pastor the old compurter that he gave me doesn't have a power button. And I can;'t access my emails from him at the library. So I asked him if pressing a key on the keyboard turns it on. He said it comes back in a group. So I'll dig uop the plufgs to the tower and monitior and try, pressing a key sir. I'm glad you had better luck.

Computer Tech and Dental Surgery

For a moment there I thought this referred to a major breakthrough in Robotic Dental Surgery that can now be done remotely using computer controlled robots. As for toothache, forget about root canal treatment and fillings if you know what is good for you - have the damned tooth extracted.
