Thank you, Jimmy. I think hubby felt I was not attracted to him. He and I made up today. No apologies were given on either side, but he did come to me first and held my hand and sat quietly next to me. Then later this morning, he told me he loved me and that I was the most beautiful woman in the world to him.
Maybe I'll cut him a little slack.

Wow! If ever someone was in need of a time out . . . ! I'm not going to say anything disparaging against your mother because, in a way, almost all mothers of that age are that way, to a degree. However, I will say that your hubby was completely wrong to have such an insensitive attitude, and was being somewhat selfish and inconsiderate. If my wife isn't "in the mood," she's isn't in the mood. I never press the issue. Hopefully you can "regroup" this weekend and have a better time of it next week . . .
