Like Jimmy, I'm surprised the Studebaker got included in the comparison...

But then, in its glory days, it was quite the car....

Setaki

I really like the way you show us a bit of South Africa in your posts! And it does make me want to explore more of your music; I was exposed to a bit of it some years ago, when I knew a grad student from South Africa...

i was saying to myself last night that I wished that you would post more often and here you are with such a great Post.

Art is subjective and fashions come and go...i think those wdding songs very erotic and after all what is the reason behind (pun intended) a wedding if it is not sexual...procreation and all that stuff!!!! I don't think many couples are thinking procreation on their wedding night!!

An interesting read. All art is basically subjective, and what appeals to one may not necessarily appeal to another. And I find it hard to imagine someone comparing a woman's buttocks to the boot of a Studabaker! Of all cars . . .

I love your posts and your art.  After reading this one, I went to find the music of Hugh Masekela and Don Laka.  Very nice....both of them.  Listening right now to All The Beautiful Things.
