I made a gingerbread house only once, when Peter was little.  He wanted to make one, so I baked the gingerbread cookies and bought colorful candies and cookies and we each made one.  They both were quite messie and leaning.  After he went home I set mine out for the birds and squirrels and what they left I threw away.  I don't know what he did with his after he took it home.

The last one I ate I got in big trouble Bill. It seems the wife was saving it for something special.

No, I've never eaten a gingerbread house. I don't think my teeth could handle it . . .

I remember them from waaay back when, and I remember eating them as well. But I haven't even seen any in years...If someone were to give me one, I would probably eat it before it turns into a rock...

Yes, especially if it is made out of Oreo's....Back in third grade, I made a gingerbread house, which was the result of a project on Hantzel and Gretel.
