ooooooooooooo...i've worked in a toxic place like that...the only thing you can do is what is best for you...look for another job while you stay there and don't give two thoughts to giving your notice once you find one..good luck

I don't know what you do and I can't imagine anything that could be accomplished under the conditions you are describing... I disagree with the thought that that is what America is all about... True that work is... well... work, and very few of us have the privilege to love what we do and be happy doing it... but no one can feel "happy" if they are constantly harassed.  I am sorry you are going through that and I can only hope your situation improves but given the state of the economy, just having a job should be a source of joy.  Screw those who are souring your work day.  Think of the "good" things you have in your life every time someone comes around to annoy you and ignore them.  Live is too short and unfortunately we spend a lot of it at our workplaces so try to detach from the bad things.  It takes you giving someone permission to bother you for them to be able to do it... so don't and if you can't... try and look for another place... Nothing is worth being unhappy.  I will keep you in my prayers.  xoxoxo

What's the difference as long as the job gets doneEfficiency is what matters.

Naut

Each location has its own variables but as a whole the retail organization runs by the same equation.  What I'm saying is, the planning and overall approach to management are the same.  There are different actors and actresses, but they play  the same roles in the play.

So, to answer your question it is generally the same.  I have worked in other locations as well as my "home" store

It does not matter where one is the atmosphere overrides the situation. You must feel weary before you start. There was a similar situation that another blogger was experiencing. He could not stand it in the end, but we have not heard of him since. I would hang on and get your Christmas bonus.

WHT

I am wondering whether the atmosphere you experience is just specific to your location, or whether it permeates the entire Apple organization. If it's the former, some communication with head office might bring about some changes...

it is good that you are able to vent here. It seems as though this is a terrible place to work, I have heard of bad but this is incredible.
